Sony has designed with the PMW-F55 CineAlta Digital Cinema Camera an extremely verstatile and modular system.
The camera features a Super 35mm sensor and can capture images up to 4K, 2K and HD resolution video in multiples formats (4K/2K RAW, MPEG-2, HD 422) via its internal recorder.
The F55 is conceived with a global shutter which eliminates motion skew or rolling shutter distorsions and its exposure lattitude is rated at 14 stops of dynamic range.
The F55 has excellent ergonomics enabling comfortable shooting, the camera head, viewfinder and shoulder mount can be adjusted to fit any operator.
It also features high frame-rate (4K up to 60fps and 240fps in 2K RAW with optionnal outboard recorder).
This camera is small, light and entirely manageable, letting users build up the right configuration to fit any type of production.
