Lens Technician position available at PhotoCineRent, Paris, FRANCE.
 
Responsible for service and maintenance of professional digital motion picture lenses and accessories.

Technician’s role:
• Provide customers advices on lenses choices before shooting
• Maintain and repair cinema lenses, ensuring equipment is complete before departure on set and on return after shooting
• Maintain and repair spherical & anamorphic prime and zoom lenses from various manufacturers : Angénieux, Cook, Zeiss, Leica, Fujinon, Canon and others.
• Evaluate and provide QC for new equipment when received
• Participate in demos and workshops when needed
• Provide training to customers and staff on new lenses
• Lens prep and calibration during camera tests

Experience/Knowledge:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in servicing and repairing professional lenses and accessories
• Good knowledge of rental houses main issues with lenses
• Experience with spherical and anamorphic lenses
• Familiar with optical, electronic and mechanical test equipment.
• General people skills is appreciated
• French language is appreciated
