The RAPTOR series features full frame (24×36) coverage, 1:1 magnification, consistent T-Stop T2.9 as well as robust and durable professional cine mechanics.

The 320° focus rotation provides room for precise focus pulls.
Also, the use of a 9-blade iris produces a pleasing bokeh, referring to natural looking out of focus areas of the image. The iris is manual and features smooth movement without click stops for smooth exposure adjustments while recording.

All the lenses of the series produce an image circle of 53mm which more than covers full-frame sensors, including the sensor in the Red 8K Weapon.

All lenses share the same length and the same front diameter of 95mm for easy accessoirizing.
