Very bright with a maximum aperture of f / 2.0, this 135mm will allow very tight long lens shots with an extremely shallow depth of field. Any subject, every detail on focus will be sublimated in the middle of very pronounced blurred. Taking advantage of the excellent optical quality specific to the Canon L series lenses and its impressive sharpness, everything on focus will seem to pop out of the picture.
With a depth of field that extreme, every slight movement may pull the picture out of focus. To avoid that, the autofocus has to be perfectly responsive. To capture the perfect moment, the 135mm f / 2.0 USM incorporates Canon USM technology for a fast and quiet autofocus.
