The URSA Broadcast is an Ultra HD broadcast camera, compatible with your B4 HD or Ultra HD lenses. The camera has built-in ND filters and offers recording to standard SD card, UHS-II card, CFast 2.0 card or external USB drive in standard H.265, ProRes and Blackmagic RAW formats. The URSA G2 is compatible with all video software and broadcast media management systems. It features the new Extended video dynamic range for shooting footage that you can broadcast live.
The USRA Broadcast G2 is a 3-camera design that can be used as a 4K production camera, 4K studio camera or 6K digital cinema camera. You can use it for your productions, or accessorise it with a Blackmagic URSA Studio Viewfinder to turn it into a live studio camera, remotely controllable and with a built-in colour correction tool.
The URSA Broadcast's magnesium alloy body is very robust but lightweight. The alloy protects it from heat with a heat exchanger that allows convection cooling and heat dissipation through the camera body. You get professional connections, an external monitor, a flip-up touchscreen and 9 screw holes to add accessories and customise your equipment.
