The Canon full frame sensor supports an ISO 100-16400 sensitivity range extendable from 50 to 12800. The camera includes an advanced AutoFocus system for precise and fast focus in numerous situations.
The 5Ds also features video capability including HD 1080P capture at 30fps, a Time lapse function and a new Quick Control button that helps the photographer to easily access the settings.
The dual processors DIGIC 6 can capture 5 frames/s with full resolution.
